Refreshing lemony martini shaken not stirred! Limoncello adds an Italian twist to our favorite cocktail.

- 2 oz Limoncello liquor chilled
- 2 oz Vodka
- ½ oz Simple syrup
- Lemon juice
- Ice
Optional Sugar Rim
- 1 tbsp Sugar optional
- Fresh Lemon cut into quarters

- Combine the gin, limoncello, lemon juice, and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Fill 2/3 with ice and shake for 30 seconds.Strain the cocktail into two martini glasses, preferably chilled.Garnish as desired with lemon peels, lemon wedges, and mint leaves.
Notes
To make Simple Syrup: Combine equal parts of water and sugar in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Cool completely before using it in your cocktail. Leftovers can be stored in a glass jar or bottle in the refrigerator.
