Instructions

Step 1

In a large pot over medium heat, brown up the ground beef and ground pork. Toss in those savory beef chuck cubes and let ‘em get a nice sear.

Step 2

Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until they’re soft and fragrant, making your kitchen smell like chili heaven.

Step 3

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and tomato paste. Let those flavors mingle for a minute.

Step 4

Mix in the kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, and beef broth. Time to get this chili bubbling and bursting with heartiness!

Step 5

Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, smoked paprika, and a spicy kiss of cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Give it a good stir.

Step 6

Lower the heat and let your chili simmer for at least an hour. Perfect time to grab a cold drink and chat with your tailgate buddies.

Step 7

Once it’s done, serve up the chili in bowls and top with cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, green onions, and jalapeños for an epic finish.
