1/2 cup Fireball whiskey 
 1/2 cup water 
 1/4 cup granulated sugar
 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin 
 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract 
 Red and white food coloring (optional) 
 Crushed candy cane pieces for garnish

Instructions

1️⃣ Heat: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar over low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
2️⃣ Bloom the Gelatin: Sprinkle gelatin over the warm mixture and whisk until fully dissolved.
3️⃣ Flavor: Remove from heat. Stir in Fireball whiskey and peppermint extract. If desired, divide the mixture and add red food coloring to one half for a candy cane swirl effect.
4️⃣ Pour: Lightly grease silicone molds or a small baking dish. Pour the mixture in, alternating colors if using both red and white.
5️⃣ Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours, or until firm.
6️⃣ Serve: Pop the gummies out of the molds and sprinkle crushed candy cane pieces on top for a festive finish.

Notes

For a stronger flavor, let the mixture cool slightly before adding the Fireball whiskey—this helps preserve its spicy kick! Keep refrigerated until ready to serve for the best texture.
