A rich and creamy holiday dessert cocktail made with vanilla ice cream, warm hot chocolate, and smooth Baileys Irish Cream. Perfect for cozy winter nights.
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1–2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
1 cup hot chocolate, freshly prepared
Whipped cream, for topping
Sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or cocoa powder, for topping
Prepare the glass
Choose a heat-safe mug or cocktail glass that can handle warm liquids.
Add the ice cream
Place two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass.
Pour the Baileys
Slowly pour 1 to 2 ounces of Baileys Irish Cream over the ice cream, allowing it to coat evenly.
Add the hot chocolate
Gently pour the hot chocolate over the ice cream and Baileys. The heat will slightly melt the ice cream, creating a creamy texture.
Top and serve
Finish with whipped cream and your favorite toppings. Serve immediately with a spoon or straw.
Serve immediately for the best hot-and-cold contrast.
Use warm, not boiling, hot chocolate to avoid over-melting the ice cream.
Adjust the Baileys amount based on preferred strength.
Garnish just before serving for the best presentation.
