Hoochie Mama Shots – Fun, fruity, and super easy to make. These mini cocktails are the perfect party starter, ready in just minutes! 

Ingredients

Scale

Blue Bottom Layer:

½ oz coconut rum

½ oz blue curaçao

Ice cubes

Pink Top Layer:

½ oz vodka

½ oz raspberry liqueur

¼ oz fresh lime juice

Ice cubes

Garnish:

Tiny pineapple wedge or a sliver of fresh strawberry

Instructions

  • Chill the Shot Glasses
    Place your shot glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. This helps keep the layers distinct and ensures a crisp, refreshing shot.

  • Prepare the Blue Bottom Layer

    • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    • Add coconut rum and blue curaçao.

    • Shake well for 10 seconds until chilled.

    • Strain into shot glasses, filling halfway.

  • Create the Pink Top Layer

    • Rinse the shaker and add fresh ice.

    • Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, and fresh lime juice.

    • Shake again for 10 seconds until cold.

  • Layer the Shot

    • Hold a spoon upside down just above the blue layer.

    • Slowly pour the pink mixture over the back of the spoon to float it on top.

 

  • Garnish and Serve

    • Add a small wedge of pineapple or a slice of strawberry to the rim for a tropical twist.

    • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Always use fresh lime juice instead of bottled lime juice for the best flavor.

Pouring the second layer slowly and using a spoon for layering is key to achieving the perfect separation of colors.

If the layers mix slightly, let the drink settle for a few seconds before serving
