A creamy, minty twist on the classic White Russian — blending rich chocolate, cool mint, and a luscious swirl of cream for a dessert-worthy drink.

Ingredients

For the Rim (Optional):

Chocolate syrup (to help the rim stick)

Mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate

For the Cocktail:

1.5 oz vodka

1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)

1 oz green crème de menthe liqueur

1.5 oz heavy cream or half-and-half

Ice cubes

For Garnish:

Fresh mint sprig

Shaved chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Rim (Optional):
    Drizzle a little chocolate syrup around the inside rim of a rocks glass.
    Dip the outer rim into mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate.

  • Mix the Base:
    Fill the rimmed glass with ice.
    Add the vodka and coffee liqueur.

  • Add the Mint Flavor:
    Pour in the green crème de menthe to give the drink its minty flavor and signature green color.

  • Add the Cream:
    Slowly pour the heavy cream or half-and-half over the top to create a layered effect.

 

  • Finish & Serve:
    Gently stir to create a beautiful marbled, mint-chocolate swirl.
    Garnish with a fresh mint sprig or a sprinkle of shaved chocolate.

Notes

For the best “mint chocolate chip” effect, use very cold cream and fresh ice. Pouring the cream slowly over the back of a spoon helps create perfect layers and a stunning swirl when stirred.
